Site Intent and Purpose
Information presented on this site is intended to be both a portfolio for my coaching services as well as a resource for creative entrepreneurs.
Sarah Kenyon follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this as a part of hosting services’ analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analysing trends, administering the site, tracking users’ movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.
Sarah Kenyon uses a combination of Google Analytics and Heat Map to log visitors visiting the website.
Like any other website, Sarah Kenyon uses ‘cookies’. These cookies are used to store information including visitors’ preferences, and the pages on the website that the visitor accessed or visited. The information is used to optimize the users’ experience by customising the web page content based on visitors’ browser type and/or other information.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment.
You can choose to disable cookies through your individual browser options. To know more detailed information about cookie management with specific web browsers, it can be found at the browsers’ respective websites.
Embedded Content from Other Sites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
When visitors leave comments on Sarah’s site I collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Information collected through contact forms on this site include name, email address and message. These messages are delivered to the creator of the website and deleted upon resolution of the subject. We do not save information submitted through contact forms for marketing purposes.
Users might be asked to subscribe to the newsletter/resource hub by providing their first name and email address to receive communication from this blog. I use the Convertkit subscription service and reserve the right to contact subscribers with information related to this blog. Subscribers may unsubscribe anytime and every email delivered will contain an ‘unsubscribe’ link.
Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity.
Sarah Kenyon does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. If you think that your child provided this kind of information on our website, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.
